Coca-Cola HBC is collaborating with governments, NGOs and its local teams across Europe to offer support to communities affected by the recent severe floods.

In Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Hungary, Poland and Romania, the company has been delivering beverages to communities and so far, over 270,000 litres of our products have been distributed through the network of local charities and municipalities.

  • In Austria: we donated drinks to communities, NGOs and impacted customers and their helpers during the clean-up and reconstruction work.
  • In the Czech Republic and Slovakia: we delivered beverages to areas in both countries that have been impacted by the floods.
  • In Hungary: we donated beverages to the Hungarian Red Cross, the Hungarian Interchurch Aid, and the Baptis Aid.
  • In Poland:  we donated beverages and are supporting the Polish Red Cross and WOŚP.
  • In Romania: we’ve been working with the Romanian Red Cross to support people, and have delivered  beverages to the impacted communities.

Minas Agelidis, Regional Director at Coca-Cola HBC, says: “Our thoughts are with local people, customers and our colleagues in areas that have been so badly affected by these devastating floods. We've checked that all our colleagues are safe and can confirm our operations are not affected.
“We’re providing essential assistance to the communities and local authorities to support the relief efforts where possible. We stand ready to help in the most meaningful ways we can.”
